About Us – Integrated Primary Prevention Workforce (IPPW)
The Integrated Primary Prevention Workforce (IPPW) is a dedicated team of professionals committed to strengthening the health, resilience, and readiness of service members and their communities. We work alongside leaders to create safe, supportive environments by proactively addressing the root causes of harmful behaviors and promoting a culture of well-being across all levels of the force.
IPPW focuses on preventing issues such as sexual assault, harassment, retaliation, domestic abuse, child abuse, and suicide before they occur. By using data-driven strategies, evidence-based practices, and ongoing evaluation, we help leaders understand the unique needs of their units and implement meaningful, lasting solutions. Our approach looks at the full picture, individual, interpersonal, and organizational factors, to ensure prevention efforts are both effective and sustainable.
Through strong partnerships with military leaders, community stakeholders, and local resources, IPPW aligns prevention efforts with organizational goals while maximizing impact. We develop and implement comprehensive prevention plans, provide expert guidance, and continuously assess outcomes to improve and refine strategies over time.
Real change requires commitment, collaboration, and action. By empowering leaders with the right tools and insights, we help build healthier climates, strengthen communities, and ensure a mission-ready force for the future.
