Counter Drug Program

The Washington National Guard Counterdrug Program (WA CDP) enables Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA) and Community Based Organizations (CBO) to counter opioid and other drug threats in support of the Governor’s priorities and national counterdrug efforts. The WA CDP employees over 100 National Guard personnel in six specialized mission areas to fill capability gaps and assist supported agencies to disrupt, degrade, and defeat Drug Trafficking Organizations (DTO) that threaten the safety and security of Washington State citizens. Supported mission areas include: Analysis, Communication, Ground Reconnaissance, Aerial Reconnaissance, Transportation, and Training through the Western Region Counterdrug Training Center.
