New Employee Orientation Forms
All forms MUST be provided to and filled out by new technicians prior to attending New Employee Orientation. Please bring all appropriate documentation and two forms of ID to your scheduled appointment for NEO.
This is the start of your Onboarding experience and your transition into the Washington Military Department.
- You will receive a tentative job offer that will be sent from usastaffingoffice@opm.gov
- There is a chance it will be sent to your junk/spam folder.
- Once you accept the offer, you will be prompted to login into USAJobs
- After logging in you will see a list of onboarding tasks to complete
- Task directions are on the bottom of this web page. Please follow them carefully
- You are required to complete all tasks no later than the Thursday prior to attending “New Employee Orientation” (NEO)
- Not completing them could impact your start date
- Download the appropriate Finance Packet (Army or Air) below the Task directions
- Complete the Packet
- Upload under the task in USAJobs
- After logging in you will see a list of onboarding tasks to complete
- Once you have completed all tasks, you will receive your Official Job Offer
- This will be sent via email
- The salary will be included (ensure it is correct)
- Please communicate to your supervisor and HRO any changes to your start date
- You will be scheduled for the next NEO date. The specific date and location is posted here: <CLICK>
- Employee positions located in Yakima, Spokane or Sedro-Woolley will be attending NEO virtually via TEAMS. The link is located on the NEO page here: <CLICK>

Our agency provides a hybrid in-person/virtual New Employee Orientation for all new hires. Office locations within 50 miles of Camp Murray will be required to attend the in-person orientation. Office locations in Sedro-Woolley, Spokane or Yakima will attend virtually.
