The Washington Army National Guard's 2nd Battalion, 146th Field Artillery Regiment is one of the Army's premiere field artillery units. On order, Guard members will deploy to a post-mobilization training site and, upon validation, to a designated contingency area of operations by sea, land, or air; and prepares for combat. When ordered by the Governor, 2nd Battalion, 146th Field Artillery supports the civil agencies that have the primary responsibility to protect life and property, and preserve peace, order and public safety.
