State 911 launches public experience survey
In an effort to find out the challenges the public faces when deciding to call 911, the state 911 coordination office has launched a new survey and is asking for the public’s help to answer as many of the questions as possible within it.

The survey questions were developed in concert with the Public Education arm of the Washington State 911 Advisory Committee.
The survey gives scenarios on when someone would call 911, asks what the public considers the most important information you should have before calling 911 and asks what expectations the public has with 911 dispatchers.
The 14-question survey will help the state 911 coordination office have a better understanding of public awareness and identify opportunities for education and outreach.
The survey will end on June 15.
