Counter Drug Program
The Washington National Guard’s Counterdrug Program (CDP) conducts a full spectrum campaign that bridges the gap between Department of Defense and Non-DoD institutions in the fight against illegal drugs and transnational threats. Established in 1988 by Congress, the mission of the Washington National Guard Counterdrug Program is to provide counterdrug support to law enforcement agencies and community-based organizations when requested.
To meet our mission, the CDP is woven into the fabric of our communities, working closely and in support of local law enforcement. The program offers a schoolhouse to train law enforcement personnel. Additionally, CDP provides subject matter experts in the field of data analysis as well linguistic expertise to law enforcement agencies.
