Employee Assitance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is the official employee assistance program for employees and their family members. EAP provides assessment and referral services for all types of difficulties related to health, family, marital, drug, alcohol, emotional, stress, and financial issues that can affect job performance. EAP professionals help individuals identify and clarify their problems and develop a plan for resolving them. They may make referrals to outside services, such as therapists, psychologists or attorneys, to facilitate resolution. EAP is confidential and offered at no cost to employees and their family members. If, however, outside professional services are rendered, those costs are the responsibility of the employee. Some of those costs may be covered by employee health care insurance.
