The State Services are comprised of financial, human resources, facilities management, information technology, and physical security sections that provide support to the Military Department, Camp Murray, and several state military sites throughout the state of Washington.

Human Resource Office

It is the goal of the State Human Resources Office (HRO) to sustain and build the personnel strength and readiness of the State Military Department state workforce through strategically designed human resource programs and planning initiatives, meeting the personnel readiness needs of every employee and enabling the workforce to successfully meet the needs of the agency and accomplish the goals of the organization.

Information Services

The Washington Military Department's State Information Services (IS) Office has overall responsibility for many of the Department's IS projects and missions. The Chief Information Officer serves as the direct representative of the Director/The Adjutant General (TAG) with oversight for the Distance Learning (DL) Centers, SIEC membership at the State level and represents the Military Department at the National Guard Bureau in Washington D.C.

The State IS Office maintains and operates a Windows 2003 Active Directory network domain (MIL.WA.GOV) with membership in the Washington State Active Directory Enterprise Forest along with approximately 30 other State Agencies. We actively participate in the Washington State Governmental Network and the State Exchange Global Address List (GAL) in a Microsoft Exchange 2003 environment. Network and E-mail services are provided by MIL.WA.GOV to state employees of the Military Department in all of the Service Divisions, the Emergency Management Division, the Air National Guard Division, and the Army National Guard Division located on Camp Murray, and throughout the State.

Security Office

The Mission of WMD Security is to provide Force Protection/Anti-Terrorism, and Criminal Protection to Camp Murray, and all other Washington Military Department assets, Federal assets, buildings and property under Washington Military Department control, and to provide a safe work environment for employee's, guests and visitors.

State Finance Office

The State Finance Division provides budget, accounting, contracting, procurement and risk management services and expertise to assist the Military Department in meeting its mission and objectives that benefit the citizens of Washington State.
